PAM CANVASS HITS THE ROAD TO THE 'BURBS!!!
After super-successful experiences in SOUTH PHILLY & NORTHEAST PHILLY -- creating CHANGE by CHANGING UNDECIDED AND McCAIN VOTERS into OBAMA VOTERS -- PHILLY AGAINST McCAIN will take our persuasion canvass to THE PA SUBURBS this weekend, Saturday October 25 & Sunday October 26. SITE TO BE DETERMINED at ENDORSEMENT MEETING! COME OUT THURSDAY and MAKE THE CASE for a site for the PFC/PAM SUBURBAN CANVASS. If a suburban candidate receives our endorsement, that candidate's district will be considered immediately, and PAM canvassers may carry literature from that candidate. OTHER SUBURBAN AREAS may be considered, but F.E.C. regulations prevent PFC from officially carrying the literature of unendorsed candidates. PFC canvassers may individually choose to carry other literature, but they do so without the imprimatur of PFC. COME OUT & FIND PAM A HOME IN THE 'BURBS! (for a week or two) Monthly Meeting - October 1Banks fail, the economy crumbles, the Treasury Secretary begs on one knee, but through it all Philly For Change pushes on for progressive reform.
In these times of uncertainty, it's good to know there are some things we can
count on. One of those things is that Philly for Change will meet the first
Wednesday of every month.
See you there, Save the Country and the Economy! Canvass with Philly Against McCain This Weekend!
Republican Rule means economic turmoil,
but John McCain's lies could give us four more years! McCain's shameless hypocrisy has made the presidential race, with a month to go, a virtual toss-up. Here in the critical Swing State Pennsylvania - Barack Obama cannot win without it - Moderate Democratic voters in South Philly and Northeast Philly are still making up their minds. Obama needs a HUGE victory in the city to offset likely losses in other parts of the state. Obama needs his supporters to stand up for him, expose McCain's hypocrisy, and tell their undecided neighbors that we can't take four more years of Republican Rule!
Are you ready to STAND UP FOR OBAMA and FIGHT McCAIN'S LIES?
Are you ready to look undecided voters in the eye and tell them the truth: WE CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE?!?
Philly for Change Philly Against McCainThe 2008 election is just five short months away. While it's easy to get caught up in the seemingly endless primary season, we all know how much is at stake this year. That's why Philly For Change has launched the Philly Against McCain campaign. Inspired by the winning 2006 Philly Against Santorum effort, we're starting work now, to help win the critical swing state of Pennsylvania in November. Make no mistake: John McCain is very conservative. On the most important issues we face today, such as the war, the environment, women's reproductive freedom, healthcare, Social Security, civil liberties and social justice, McCain is the same, or worse than Bush: he's truly McSame, the enemy of change. We'll knock on doors, make phone calls, hold fun events, put up posters, take out ads and much more to make sure that all local voters know that electing John McCain would be like a 3rd Bush term. To help us take a positive step together toward victory in November, learn more at our MeetUp on Wednesday, June 4, Philly For Change Meetup at 7:00 at Tritone, 1508 South Street.
